Geranium renardii

Cranesbill Geranium
Geranium renardii
Type: Perennials
Exposure: Part Shade
Water: Regular

This perennial is part of larger group called “true geraniums,” as opposed to the annual type of geranium, which is actually part of a group called “pelargonium.” This is a compact selection, forming a 1ft (30cm) clump of roundish, velvety grey-green leaves. The blooms are a pearly white with striking  purple veining, and typically show up in mid-spring. This geranium benefits from being cut back hard in the fall.

Cheers,

John
