Type: Perennial

Water: Regular

This unique perennial is named for Leslie Hubricht, who discovered it in central Arkansas in the 1940’s. It forms a feathery upright clump of fresh green, threadlike foliage, and will reach 3ft (90cm) high and wide. This contrasts well with plants with larger, coarser foliage. Mid-spring brings masses of half inch (1.25cm) powder blue, star-shaped flowers, arranged in terminal clumps. Then, as an added bonus, the plant turns bright gold with bronze tones in fall. The fall color tends to be better if the plant is situated in full sun.
