This low-growing veronica only gets a foot (30cm) high while spreading to 18in (45cm) wide, forming a bushy clump of lance-shaped, dark green leaves. Tapering spikes of vivid blue flowers appear in late spring and last for several weeks. Shearing the plant after bloom will rejuvenate the foliage and may extend the blooming season. It’s a natural for rock gardens, containers, or for a small scale ground cover. Plus, it attracts butterflies.
