Type: Deciduous Climbing Shrub
Exposure: Full Sun
Water: Regular

This vigorous climbing rose can grow to 15 or 20ft (4.5-6m) in a relatively short time, which makes it great for growing over an arbor or pergola. Glossy, bright green leaves adorn the canes which are covered with masses of light pink, semi-double blooms in June. These lightly fragrant blossoms fade to near white as they mature. It may re-bloom later in the summer, depending on how your particular plant was propagated; plants from a reputable grower should re-bloom. New Dawn is quite disease and mildew-resistant, even here on the wet…er…West Coast, but has vicious thorns; keep away from traffic flow.

Cheers,

John
