Type: Evergreen Perennial
Exposure: Sun / Part Shade
Water: Regular

This easy-to-care-for perennial features brilliant vermillion half-globe blooms that rise above the foliage in late spring/ early summer. Unlike many geums (many of which are named after cocktails, for some reason), these blooms are semi to fully double, and are a popular candidate for cut flower arrangements. The evergreen foliage forms a low clump of coarse green leaves to 18in (45cm) wide, with the flower stocks rising to 2ft (60cm) high. Repeat blooming can be encouraged by cutting off spent blossoms.

Cheers,

John
