Glossy green leaves with scalloped edges and blotches of creamy yellow form rosettes which create a mat of foliage from 6 to 12 in (15-30 cm) wide. Wiry, slightly bent flower stalks rise to 12 inches (30 cm) above the foliage with tiny, airy-looking pinkish white blooms. Saxifrage is an old favorite for path edges and rockeries.
