Anemone Clematis
Clematis montana “Elizabeth
Type: Deciduous Vine
Exposure: Full Sun / Part Shade
Water: Regular
This spring-blooming clematis is a vigorous climber, able to scramble up a trellis, fence or into trees. Reaching to 20ft (6m), it unleashes a huge display of 4-petalled anemone-shaped blooms in shades of pink. To prune, cut out any tangled, weak or dead growth after the bloom has finished in summer, since flowers are borne on the previous year’s growth. These flowers attract butterflies and hummingbirds.
