Should have posted this on St Patrick’s Day…

This dwarf Rhododendron with small leaves grows only to 18in (45cm) high by 2 ft (60cm) wide; its dwarf habit makes it a popular choice for rock gardens. The blooms, which are creamy-yellow to chartreuse, open right around mid-March, hence the Irish-themed name. These flowers, which are attractive to butterflies, are small but profuse.
