Happy St Patrick’s Day!

This is a lower, spreading variety of the well known culinary herb. Growing to 2 feet (60cm) high but spreading to 6 to 8ft (1.8m to 2.4m), it is well suited to the top of a wall, or as a groundcover. The leaves are 2in (5cm) long, needle-like and dark green on the top; silvery green beneath. Lavender blue flowers come in waves from the fall through the spring and into summer. Both the flowers and foliage are fragrant.

Cheers,

John
