Laurustinus

Viburnum Tinus

Laurustinus
Viburnum Tinus
Type: Evergreen Shrub
Exposure: Sun / Part Shade
Water: Regular

Dense evergreen foliage and a branching habit that extends right to the ground makes this viburnum a popular choice for a screen or hedge plant. In addition to this, deep pink flower buds give way to large, fragrant clusters of tiny white flowers from fall through spring. These are followed by metallic blue berries that persist through summer. Laurustinus will grow to about 20ft (6m) high by half as wide. “Spring Bouquet” is a widely used, more compact selection that has all the features of the species, but tops out at 6ft (1.8m) high and wide.

Cheers,

John
