English Daisy

Bellis perennis “Medici’s Red”

Medici’s Red English Daisy
Bellis perennis “Medici’s Red”
Type: Perennials (often treated as annuals)
Exposure: Sun, light shade in hotter locations
Water: Regular

Dark green leaves form an 8in (20cm) clump. Flower stalks rise 3-6in (7.5-15cm) above the foliage and produce plump, double, bright red pompoms in early to mid-spring. English daisies are an excellent choice for the fronts of beds, either by themselves or with companions such as tulips or Irish moss. Many different varieties are available that cover the range from white through red and everything in between.

Cheers,

John
