The striking bronzy-greenish / dark purple foliage forms a glossy mound up to 6in (15cm) high, with a maximum spread of 18in (45cm).  Glowing yellow buttercup flowers appear in early spring, in electrifying contrast to the foliage color. The plant goes completely dormant in summer, so be sure to plant something to fill the gaps. Rumor has it it’s deer resistant.
