There are a wide variety of flowering quince available; they can range in height and spread from 3ft (0.9m) to 10ft (3m), with blossoms ranging from single to fully double, in colors from soft white to brilliant red. Most have thorns; all are easy to grow. Also, a budding branch, cut and put into water on a sunny windowsill, will produce a beautiful early spring display  (It’s on its way, I promise).
