This is another example of a dwarf version of a much larger tree. It makes a great accent plant thanks to its fine texture and light green new growth in the spring. Reaching only 1-2ft (30-60cm) high, but sprawling to 4ft (1-2m) wide, it’s a good addition to a rock garden or evergreen display. The foliage remains dark green all winter.
*Pro tip- To brighten the day of the nursery staff, omit the second “r” in “Cole’s Prostrate,” and watch the reaction. Great fun.

Cheers,

John
