Itea virginica “Little Henry”
Type: Deciduous Shrub
Exposure: Sun / Part Shade
Water: Regular to Ample

This dwarf Sweetspire will reach 4ft (1.2m) high and wide, with arching branches and a rounded habit. Oval green leaves change to a multicolored fall display of red, purple orange and yellow, which can last well into winter.  Late spring or early summer sees the arrival of fragrant, tiny white flowers borne in prolific, drooping cylindrical clusters that can reach 6in (15cm) long. A versatile addition to your garden, this guy works well in borders, in a woodland setting, as a low hedge, or as a shrubby ground cover.
