Orange over yellow, short, needle-like foliage, held on coppery stems is what makes this sprawling evergreen a bright spot in any border. Growing to 1ft (30cm) high by 3ft (90cm) wide, this guy provides year round color, with purple-pink bell-shaped summer flowers thrown in as a bonus. These blooms can last well into fall. The leaves darken to a coppery color in cooler weather, and are frost hardy. Great in mixed borders with contrasting foliage, or as part of a mixed heather planting.
