Growing to 18in (45cm), this particular variety of Kalimeris features lance-shaped green leaves with a showy, creamy-white variegation around their margins. This variegation fades as the summer wears on, but it can be prolonged by leaf pinching. Autumn brings a profusion of 1in (2.5cm) aster-like blooms with lavender petals and yellow centers. These work well in rock gardens, or in mass planting in borders.
