Bluebell Creeper

Sollya heterophylla

Bluebell Creeper
Sollya heterophylla
Type: Evergreen Shrub or Vine
Exposure: Full Sun / Part Shade
Water: Regular

A native of Australia, this loosely growing shrub, or vining shrub, will form a spreading mound to 3ft (90cm) high and 6ft (1.8m) wide, or can be trained into an upright form. Delicately narrow, evergreen leaves are joined by dainty, bell-shaped blue flowers that bloom almost all summer, followed by blue or purplish (supposedly edible) berries in fall. It also works well as a groundcover, spilling over walls, or in containers. Regular pruning will encourage denser growth.

Cheers,

John
