Type: Evergreen Perennial Groundcover
Exposure: Full Sun
Water: Regular

Candytuft is a hardy, easy-to-care-for plant, forming a mound of glossy, dark green foliage. It reaches 12-18 in (30-45 cm) high and wide, and remains attractive all year round. This variety produces stems topped with profuse clusters of pure white flowers in the spring, which can last into early summer. Shear lightly after bloom to stimulate new growth.

Fun fact: You’ll see the word “sempervirens” used frequently in botanical names; it means “evergreen”. In this case, it tells us that (while some candytufts are annuals), this particular one is evergreen.

Cheers!

John
