These iris relatives from New Zealand grow to 2ft (60cm) high by 1ft (30cm) wide. The olive green leaves have a central orange stripe; they turn completely yellowish-orange in the fall and hold their color well into winter. White flowers in branching clusters appear from late spring to midsummer on stems that are shorter than the leaves. It looks great backlit, and works well in containers.

Cheers,

John
